Exmoor Homeopathy Seminars have been set up to offer informative and lively training to Homeopathic Practitioners, Students and Graduates at a reasonable cost in the beautiful south-west of England. We specialize in the Bombay method of casetaking, however many other methods are incorporated into the study days; with such a vast and fascinating subject to study, we encourage an open-minded approach at all levels.

We started as Continuing Professional Development Training for post-graduate students in the South West in August '06, and have now expanded to provide a monthly seminar attracting students who are still in college, practitioners who wish to expand their knowledge and post-graduates undergoing the Continuous Professional Development required for full registration with the Society of Homeopaths.

The seminars are run once a month, usually towards the end of each month and are currently being run on the basis of a mix of materia medica lectures and live video-casetaking sessions.

The sessions take place at the White Hart Hotel in Wiveliscombe, a lively market town south of Taunton, and the seminar price includes tea/coffee during the breaks and on arrival. Lunch is available at the pub, which offers a comprehensive and delicious menu.

The subject matter covered is largely down to the delegates - you are welcome to have your own say in what is to be covered and several of the topics covered to date have been designed around what the delegates have requested in previous meetings.

The video-casetaking allows delegates to watch a real live case being taken via an efficient and effective video link; of course, we do not know which area of study this will take us to - obviously this is driven by the needs of the patient, but the delegates are invited to take an active part in the case evaluation and prescription. Follow ups are to be included in each video-casetaking day so that the student has the opportunity to follow the patient's progress and to achieve continuity with their studies.
