DAVID LILLEY DAY: 7TH OCT

This was a rare opportunity to see a unique seminar presented by one of the world's leading homeopaths, lecturing in his very own fascinating style in the beautiful hills of Exmoor.

David, for those who have not heard him speak before, is a Homeopathic Physician practising in South Africa; he has the most amazing in-depth grasp of this fascinating subject and his seminars are truly memorable!

The Seminar, entitled "The Abuse of the Feminine" traced the oppression and demeaning of the feminine principle by the patriarchal system from the mythical Garden of Eden scenario, in which Eve is depicted as an evil, seducing and corrupting force in the life experience of Man, to the present time when, in many societies and religions, the role of the feminine is secondary and restricted. The repercussions of dominance by the male principle are the abuse, not only of women, but also of mother nature herself.

David considered the homeopathic approach to both victim and perpetrator.

THIS WAS AN ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS DAY, WELL SUPPORTED AND GREETED WITH MUCH ENTHUSIASM. THE LECTURE WAS SPELL-BINDING, AS DAVID TRACED THE BACKGROUND TO THE ABUSE OF THE FEMININE SUBJECT, COVERING A HUGE RANGE OF REMEDIES, AND PASSING ON TO THE DELEGATES HIS OWN PERSONAL EXPERIENCE OF USING THESE REMEDIES IN HIS PRACTICE IN SOUTH AFRICA. THIS PROVIDED THE ATTENDEES WITH A COMPLETELY NEW VISION, IN MANY CASES, OF WELL-KNOWN AND MUCH USED REMEDIES. AT THE END OF EACH SESSION, THE DELEGATES ALL SEEMED TO BE QUITE SPEECHLESS, SUCH IS DAVID'S RANGE AND KNOWLEDGE OF HOMEOPATHY.

IT WAS A DAY WHEN FRIENDS OLD AND NEW (SOME FROM AS FAR AFIELD AS IRELAND AND YORKSHIRE!) HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO ADVANCE THEIR KNOWLEDGE AT THE HANDS OF A TRUE MASTER.
