How to Find Us
FROM THE NORTH:
Leave the M5 @ Junction 25; follow the signs for Minehead. On leaving the m'way take the 1st left at the first roundabout and follow the dual carriageway across the major set of traffic lights to the next roundabout where you take the 3rd exit over the Obridge flyover. At the end of the flyover take the first exit and keep following the signs for Minehead. After about 1.5 miles you will come to a roundabout by the pub, the Staplegrove. Turn right here and go straight on until you see the
Cross Keys pub of your right on (yet!) another roundabout. Here you go straight on heading for Wiveliscombe. Follow this road for some 5 miles and this will bring you to the traffic lights on the edge of Wiveliscombe itself. Turn right here and go up the hill into the town centre. You will see the White Hart on your right as you get into the middle of the town.
FROM THE SOUTH:
Leave the M5 @ Junction 27 and follow the A38 heading for Wellington. Take a left turn to Holywell Lake and follow this road for 3 miles. You then take the left fork signposted Wiveliscombe just before you enter the village of Langford Budville. This road will take you directly to the traffic lights on the edge of the town of
Wiveliscombe. Go straight across at these traffic lights, up the hill into the centre of the town. You will see the White Hart on your right as you get into the middle of the town.
PARKING:
There is a pub car park behind the White Hart - turn left immediately after the pub and drive up the slope to your right.
There are also 2 municipal car parks in Wiveliscombe itself both of which are free to park in. One is further along North Street (the street you will have turned into when you turned right at the pub) and the other is accessed by driving past the pub along the main high street and following the signs which take you to the car park on the lower side of the town.
ACCOMMODATION:
The White Hart can provide bed and breakfast accommodation if you wish to stay overnight. Also, Libby is happy to provide you with details of various bed and breakfast options, or to possibly put you in touch with delegates from this area who will be happy to accommodate you for the night.
