What Do We Do?
It is our aim to provide top quality materia medica and case-taking training for delegates in a lively and interesting manner, in an informal and relaxed atmosphere using the most up-to-date methods of case-taking and analysis.
We try to keep the costs as low as possible in order to appeal to students and practitioners alike.
We are happy to supply Certificates of Attendance for your records and written receipts are also available on request.
During the day there is plenty of opportunity for networking with peers and the chance to chat generally with friends old and new over a delicious pub lunch in the restaurant of The White Horse in Wiveliscombe.
The lectures are lively and well thought out and amply illustrated with handouts etc. as appropriate.
The video case-taking days involve the delegates in the case analysis and prescription, and full participation is actively encouraged by the lecturers.
Primarily the Bombay method of case-taking and analysis is taught, by a practitioner who has a great deal of experience in working with this system.
This leads to far-ranging discussion about materia medica and the Doctrine of Signatures generally, with many hints and tips being related about the remedies under discussion as the days progress.
Delegates are encouraged to evaluate the days and to make suggestions for future areas of study, and the days are organised to include these requests.
Homeopathy is such a wide-ranging subject, and we have not yet had time to look at many of the remedy sources, but our programme of events for 2008 encompasses an interesting range of subjects, and many more are planned for 2009.
Topics covered during 2006/7 include: An Overview of the Kingdoms, The Natrums, The Malvales, An Overview of the Bird Remedies, Marine Magic - A Look at the Remedies from the Sea, Unravelling the Miasmatic Mystery, The Lac Remedies,
A special day for Vets and Vet Students and The Birds and the Bees.
We are starting 2008 with a day dedicated to the Snake remedies.
